Together with Singapore-based artist and renowned sneaker customiser Mark Ong of SBTG, and Mandeep Chopra, founder of sneaker boutique retailer Limited EDT, Reebok gets the claws out for an exclusive iteration of its classic Instapump Fury sneaker, “Feline Fury” as part of its Spring/Summer 2017 collection.
A proudly made-in-Singapore design, the collaborative effort calls upon the wild for a reinterpretation of the running shoe’s iconic segmented silhouette that dates back to 1994. Inspired by the characteristics of the Lion City’s namesake beast, the retro running sneaker features a sand-toned colour scheme, textured Pellegrini pony hair upper, and SBTG’s signature ‘Parsillia’ camouflage motif that is inspired by Roman military uniforms. With the Limited EDT logo printed on the heel and embroidered SBTG logo adorning the tongue below the laceless Instapump CO2 charger, the panel under the tongue remains intentionally blank for SBTG’s personal customisation service.
Ahead of its global roll-out on January 27, the initial Singapore release comes in a special edition, individually numbered box set.
$299, available exclusively at Limited EDT, before its global launch on January 27. A special edition, individually numbered box set version is also available online at limitededt.com.
