Vans takes it back to ’66 with the Anaheim Factory pack

In celebration of over 50 years of tailoring footwear for those who live life “Off The Wall”, Vans looks back to its Anaheim, California roots where it all began in 1966 for the latest iterations of its Classic silhouettes. Aptly dubbed the Anaheim Factory pack, the commemorative collection brings modern updates to the skateboarding brand’s original designs as part of its “Not Just One Thing” campaign.

Inspired by Paul and Jim Van Doren’s retail space that was annexed to their rubber factory at 704 East Broadway, the Authentic 44 and Old Skool 36 – adopting the numbers of their original design molds – see a return to the brand’s old-school tones of Racing Red, Mineral Green and Light Grey among the range of colourways.

Updates to the iconic silhouettes include a heavy 10-ounce canvas construction and marshmallow sidewall with a higher profile and subtle sheen, while Sidestripe models feature a suede toecap, heel counter and eyestay. Bringing new technology to the timeless designs, all silhouettes across the collection also feature a comfort-pushing UltraCush footliner to serve skating and street-minded lifestyles alike.

Available for $89 and $109 for the Authentic and Old Skool respectively, at all Vans stores and selected retailers.
