Diplo to play Singapore in January for Asia 2017 Tour

Diplo, the brainchild behind Major Lazor, Jack Ü and left-field dance imprint Mad Decent, is due to make his return to Singapore early in the new year. Announcing the dates for his upcoming Asia 2017 Tour via his Facebook page, the Grammy award-winning American DJ-producer is set to perform at Zouk on January 13, 2017.

The date will be the Diplo’s first performance since performing at the now-defunct Zirca nightclub in 2011, and marks one of the first international acts to perform at Zouk’s new home of Clarke Quay. Ticket prices and availability are yet to be available, with Zouk providing more information at a later date.

The multi-faceted musician is no stranger to Singapore’s burgeoning music scene, having signed local future bass wiz-kid MYRNE to his Mad Decent label. The artist has also remained busy with a long list of production accolades, including credits on Beyoncé’s Lemonade, M.I.A.’s AIM and, most recently, The Weeknd’s Starboy in 2016 alone.
