You don’t need a ticket to Munich to get excited about the thought of swinging beer steins with your mates and chowing down on pretzels and bratwurst. Annual Oktoberfest celebrations in Singapore have given us a slice of German festivities each year, and this year, Erdinger is giving us reason to yell “Prost!” with the return of Erdinger Oktoberfest at not one, but three different locations from September 21 to October 28.
Like the bar-hoppers who relish the brewer’s iconic wheat bear, Erdinger Oktoberfest will be hopping from Suntec City, Clarke Quay Central and The Star Vista over six weeks for a multifaceted experience of shopping, drinking and feasting. Just how Germans the celebrate Bavarian culture and coming together for a pint or two, the Singaporean equivalent will be likewise arranged as a street-party beer garden, complete with hearty grub, invigorating folk songs, and, of course, plenty of beer!
As well as its beloved Weissbier, Dunkel and Alkoholfrei brews, visitors will also have the chance to enjoy Erdinger’s limited edition Oktoberfest Brew, a crisp wheat beer boasting hoppy and grainy notes. While some will choose to enjoy the specialty weissbier while ogling at the girls in the dirndls, others who are looking to elevate the camaraderie can hop on board Singapore’s first ever Erdinger BARcycle, a mobile counter-top bar equipped with a beer dispenser and Erdinger’s variety of brews to really get the party “moving”.
Swing by one of the three locations between the below dates after a day of shopping to immerse yourself in the festivities.
September 21 to October 2: Suntec City, Suntec Plaza, 3 Temasek Boulevard.
October 3 to 11: Clarke Quay Central, 6 Eu Tong Seng Street.
October 19 to 28: The Star Vista, B1 Star Plaza, 1 Vista Exchange Green.
