However, picking one is no easy feat, and this year there are more than ever for partygoers to get on the gas and pump fists at. Don't get stuck at the lights – we've broken down each party on the calendar so you know where to time your pit stops and go full-throttle by the time the F1 weekend arrives. Buckle up, it's gonna be a big one!
Where: Temasek Reflection, Millenia Walk
When: September 17 and 18, from 11pm till late
Why: The crown jewel of F1 after-parties. While its cover charge will make many revelers' jaws drop, this exclusive celebration is the best place to be when it comes to rubbing shoulders with F1 drivers and celebrity guests. In addition tosupermodel fashion show, the unveiling of Miss Singapore 2016, and Kelis headlining a string of performers, past invitees like Justin Bieber, Kim Kardashian and David Beckham should give you an idea of the luxury waiting within.
Where: The Ritz-Carlton, Millenia Singapore
Why: Transforming the Ritz-Carlton's Grand Ballroom into an immersive ultra-lounge, Podium Lounge will be revving up the post-race celebrations for its eighth year now, and 2016 won't disappoint. Installing an impressive overhead catwalk in the centre of the action, last year's fashion showcase was concluded with a fiery set by Game Of Thrones actor Kristian Nairn (Hodor). This year, guests will party the night away with headliner Sophie Ellis-Bextor, and returning acts Mark Doyle (HED KANDI) and Estelle.
SRYNTSRY presents New Asia Grand Prix Weekend
Where: New Asia, Equinox Complex Level 71, Swissotel The Stamford, 2 Stamford Road
Why: There are few parties that get you closer to the track than New Asia at Swissotel – well, 71 floors up from the smell of burning rubber, anyway. A natural choice for rev-heads looking for the closest club to continue the party, New Asia's line-up for the weekend will capture the action of the race course while you take in spectacular views. Kicking things off is one of the most lauded party MCs on the planet, Big Ali, while Dutch dance duo NEW_ID turn things up on Saturday, with resident DJ Doze closing the weekend.
Zouk Soundsystem x Grey Goose present Firebeatz
Where: Zouk, 17 Jiak Kim Street
When: September 17, 11pm till late
Why: It'll be the last time you can hit up Jiak Kim Street after the checkered flags have dropped, so make this one count. Zouk needs no introduction, and fast-rising Dutch dance duo, Firebeatz, soon won't either. With tunes that ignite dance floors and drops that'll make you pop 'n' lock, the pair's work with the likes of Sander van Doorn and Martin Garrix is sure to get EDM-loving revelers all fired up.
Eyes To The Front presents Party In The Pool
Where: Sofitel SO Singapore, 35 Robinson Road
Why: Those looking to kick back rather than turn up will find solace at Sofitel SO this weekend. A pool party complete with floating tables so you can wade in the water as you sip your glass of bubbly, Eyes To The Front are bringing the sizzle with a barbecue menu full of gourmet goodies. KL-based techno/tech house champion, JohnnyVicious, will be joined by Tye West, Oliver Osborne and more to create a splash once the pool vibes heat up.

Why: Sure to be the sexiest celebration of the weekend, Boudoir Noire is back for more old-school splendour and risqué revelry. Hosted in the picturesque Capitol Theatre, the seductive cabaret shindig's second edition will see the return of burlesque star Sukki Singapora and the weird, wonderful world of cabaret nouveau production, THE BOX.
CÉ LA VI Night Race Week 2016

When: September 15 to 18, from 10pm till late
Why: The pinnacle of Marina Bay Sands is firing up its engines early with 88-hours of non-stop partying beginning Thursday, hosting the Official Martini Racing Party with tunes by UK hip-hop spinner DJ J-Cue. Celebrating each night of the F1 revelry with a pre-race afternoon barbecue, CÉ LA VI's crowd-pumping residents will be joined by Grammy-nominated Dutch DJ Gregor Salto, as well as the Official DJ of Red Bull Infiniti racing team, DJ Erok, to shift the blow-out into top gear.
Splash And Dash
Where: WET Deck, W Singapore – Sentosa Cove
When: Saturday, September 17, from 2pm to 8pm
Why: If you want to get far away from the races, traffic, and crowds, W Singapore's WET Deck at the alluring Sentosa Cove is a fine place to do it. Though the hotel's serene pool deck lends itself to relaxing moments in the water under the sun's rays, Scottish producer/DJ and Marko Liv will be electrifying guests with his Ibiza Clubbing Guide Award-winning tunes.
Experience The F1 High

Why: Say you want the view, the lively environment, and actually watch the races (crazy, right?). If you're looking to catch Hamilton and Rosberg in action but don't see yourself spending the night in the stands, LeVeL33 has you covered. Perched at prime position with an aerial view of the Marina Bay Street Circuit, the craft beer bar and restaurant will also be screening the race live so you don't miss a second while enjoying rustic European cuisine and specialty F1 cocktails made for the occasion.
Grey Goose presents Afterburner
Where: kyo, #B1-02 Keck Seng Tower, 133 Cecil Street
When: September 16 and 17, from 10pm till late
Why: The high-octane energy of the precision vehicles will certainly dominate the roads above ground, but kyo is set to ignite a different kind of energy altogether below street level. Putting together two nights of heavy hitters from the house scene, Jakartan House Cartel member Nandi and KL techno tastemaker Victor G will get motors running with a wide range electronic sounds, while 'French touch' veteran Sébastien Léger pushes the envelope for the final lap of the weekend.
Rehyedrate F1 Special
Where: CATO, 237 South Bridge Road
When: September 17, from 10pm till late
Why: The intimate setting of CATO's restaurant-bar is set to fire up all cylinders with the return of its Rehydrate party. Like its menu of culinary delights, CATO is keeping things interesting with three French deckspinners to bring out the party-loving Hydes with a selection of underground techno cuts, helmed by Tristan Kino, Christophe Pierre and the weekend's namesake beat-maker, Jeck Hyde.
Gear Up To Race The Night Away at Tiger's Milk
Where: Tiger’s Milk, The Club, 28 Ann Siang Road
When: September 15 to 17, from 6pm to 1am
Why: Close enough to the Padang to hear the engines roaring; far enough to steer clear of the crowds. Nestled at the rooftop of The Club Hotel, the Peruvian restobar's vibrant terrace will lay the foundation for an evening of booty shaking, with a number of attractive drink specials and a potent, specially-made shot aptly named 'Fast 'n' Furious' to complement the Latin vibes.
F1 Ibiza Race
Where: Millian Singapore, #01-05 St James Power Station, 3 Sentosa Gateway
When: September 16 to 18, from 10pm till late
Why: If you don't yet have the moolah to live out your dream of partying in Ibiza, then there's good news: Millian is bringing the sounds of Spain's party island to you. Boasting a line-up hailing from Ibiza all weekend, Friday kicks off with Pacha's head honchos Alex Kennon and Taao Kross, followed by Ibiza Global Radio DJ/producer David Moreno and Jeck Hyde on Saturday, and Spanish techno sirens Anna Tur and Alexia bringing the weekend to a close with seductive, high energy sets.
Dom Pérignon presents Luminous
Where: Attica, #01-03 Clarke Quay, 3A River Valley Road
When: September 17, from 10pm till late
Why: Right after Colosseum Club Jakarta resident DJ Mythalogic tears you a new one in the preceding evening, Attica accelerates the interactive F1 experience with more bubbles than you'll see sprayed at the podium. Named after Dom Pérignon's club-centric Luminous bottle, revelers will have the chance to score Luminous bottles on the house by racing against Attica's race queens at an pop-up arcade, while Scottish DJ/producer Marko Liv brings the fire that earnt him top spot at the Colours DJ competition and sets alongside the likes of Steve Angello.
Sky Grandé Prix 2016
Where: Empire, Level 45 Singapore Land Tower, 59 Raffles Place
When: September 14 to 19, 5pm till late
Why: As well as taking in magnificent views of the marina and the track, guests of the fifth Sky Grandé Prix party will also get first dibs on partying up within the newly-renovated Empire penthouse lounge, in addition to getting a sneak peak at the upcoming mezzanine VIP level, Skyline. Luxury's the word at this one, where partygoers will witness and also stand a chance to win exquisite diamonds, dance the night away with G.H Mumm Party Squad while sipping limited edition N°1, and stand in awe during the Triumph lingerie showcase on closing night.

When: September 16 to 18, from 6pm till late
Why: Standing at unmatched heights at the centre of the F1 action, 1-Altitude's annual weekender is a no-brainer for anyone who likes the roar of engines to complement the tunes coming from the console. Pick your poison between Friday's Martini Party, Saturday's Belvedere Party and Sunday's Heineken Race Day Party with the thumping tunes of DJs Katty Q (RUS), KIMKAT (LA) and Adam Sky (AUS) respectively. The good vibes are going to hit sky-high status.
Zouk Bloc Party
Where: Clarke Quay Fountain Square, 3 River Valley Road
When: September 17, from 2pm to 12am
Why: In anticipation of Zouk's big move from Jiak Kim Street to Clarke Quay, it's time to get familiar with the new digs with a bloc party to celebrate. An all-ages event that brings music, shopping and food to the forefront, the party starts nice and early with ZouKIDisco, catered especially for those who bring their babies to the bash. As well as unveiling grub from Zouk's latest F&B outlet, Red Tail Bar Singapore, and a flea market offering a number of swoon-worthy knick-knacks, partygoers can soak up nothing but local tunes from the main stage.
