Chic‘s long awaited album, It’s About Time is on it’s way and the mastermind behind the work, Nile Rodgers recently revealed during an interview the roll call of names featured in the album, which includes, Bruno Mars, Anderson .Paak, Craig David, Stefflon Don, Nao, Mura Masa and Blondie‘s Debbie Harry.
When Bruno Mars found out that Anderson .Paak, his supporting act during his 24K Magic Tour in the UK year got into works with the band’s frontman, Nile Rodgers at the illustrious Abbey Road Studios in London during the same time, he got in. After sharing great Prince stories, the two got down to business and worked on the project together. Rodgers revealed that he has been in the studio with Haim to record something special and teased a possible collaboration or special appearance at one another’s gigs in the future.
It is a long time coming when fans eagerly waited for Chic’s new album, since it was kept on hold in 2015 and it will be their first album since 1992. Last year, Rodgers was diagnosed with cancer but has since made a full recovery.
