This is for all the musicians out there. Remember the cult brands Teisco and Harmony? They haven’t made much noise, have they? But make no mistake: They’ll be back! And it’s Singapore-headquartered firm BandLab Technologies that’ll be breathing fresh life into them.
Both brands will formally re-enter the market at NAMM 2018 – the National Association of Music Merchants, in Anaheim, California. United by a shared lineage of making affordable but well-crafted instruments and accessories that are used by hobbyists and professionals alike, Teisco and Harmony have long been trusted and sworn-to brands. Just ask Eddie Van Halen and James Iha, if you need more clarification.
This move bolsters BandLab Technologies’ already impressive portfolio, which includes rock music bible Rolling Stone, music lifestyle brand MONO and Swee Lee, the titan in music instrument and pro-audio equipment retail and distribution in Asia.
At this writing, not much is known besides BandLab Technologies’ role in resurrecting both entities and that a slew of new products is expected to come your way. But keep it locked here and we’ll bring you the updates as they come.
