For decades, partygoers have flocked to Ibiza’s shores to bask in pristine waters, Mediterranean sunshine, and moments of aural bliss. Instrumental in shaping the sound of the Spanish island is superclub Pacha, a longstanding pioneer in electronic and dance music and continually ranking in the top 10 of DJ Mag‘s annual Top 100 Clubs. While its story has reached minds and hearts the world over (including those of Zouk founder, Lincoln Cheng), Pacha Festival is now bringing the Ibiza experience to our corner of the earth with an inaugural weekend at Bali’s Anantara Beach Resort Seminyak this August.
Having previously exported the sounds Ibiza’s renowned nightlife scene to Amsterdam and Tokyo, Pacha Festival Bali marks the first full-fledged Pacha experience to reach Southeast Asia by the nightlife giant, which is now nearing its 50th year in operation. While the line-up has yet to be announced, previous line-ups have seen the likes of Martin Solveig, Fedde Le Grand and Basement Jaxx share the stage with local acts. Phase 1 tickets are now on sale, priced at IDR565,000 (approximately SGD59) each.
Pacha Festival Bali kicks off on August 18, 2017 at Anantara Beach Resort Seminyak, Bali. For tickets and more info, visit events.pouchnation.com.
