Retrophiles, assemble! Like coffee straight into the vein of a caffeine addict, The Analog Assembly is back to cool your vintage cravings with a treasure trove of dead formats for the second edition of X? (The X-Change). Situated at the historic Golden Theatre, the independent cinema and creative platform The Projector will once again house this vinyl buy/sell/trade fair.
Promising to be a bigger, better get-together than the last, the X? will feature hundreds of vinyl records spanning the gamut of music genres, from rock to electronica to hip hop to indie to the blues, and specially curated by a host of established local vinyl dealers and record labels, such as For The Record, Straits Records, Vinylicious Records, Kitchen Label, Ujikaji Records, and 4IB Records.
And for those of you who are too future-forward to get behind the times, Singapore’s very own Sean Lam of Hanging Up The Moon and mix-master DJ KoFlow will be commemorating the welcomed return of vintage affair, with Sean performing a stripped-down live acoustic set of the band’s signature acoustic-folk tunes, while the local hip-hop stalwart will be spinning an all-vinyl set and showcasing his acclaimed turntable flourishes.
Happening on February 20; X? at 2pm, Sean Lam at 5.30pm, and DJ KoFlow at 6.30pm. For more information, visit facebook.com/theanalogassembly.
